Please join us for the AFSS-North quarterly meeting/training on Thursday, December 7, 2023 hosted by the Sanger Fire Department.
Please note the physical location of the meeting is at the Fresno Fire Department Headquarters at 911 H St, Fresno, CA 93721.
This quarter's meeting will be jam-packed with three trainings: Brown Act, Writing/Editing for Executive Staff, and Public Speaking!
Schedule of Events:
9:00-10:00 - General Business/Membership Meeting
We will be announcing our Member of Year, LIfetime Member nominations, and Conference Scholarship recipients during the Business Meeting. Please see the links below to nominate someone or apply for a scholarship.
10:00-11:00 - Training Session #1 - Brown Act
11:00-12:00- Training Session #2 - Writing/Editing for Executive Staff
12:00-1:30 - Lunch / Raffle & Christmas Ornament White Elephant Exchange
1:30-2:30 - Training Session #3 - Public Speaking
At lunch, we will have a raffle and Christmas ornament exchange-white elephant style! Please bring an unwrapped ornament for the exchange if you would like to participate ($10 limit).
