Nominate and vote on our AFSS 2026 Board Members! 

You may self-nominate and nominate other members for any open board position. Use the link below to submit a nomination form. 

NOMINATION FORM

• President - Lead the board and help guide our organization for a one-year term (2026–2027)
• First Vice-President – Support the President and step in when needed for a one-year term (2026–2027)
• Second Vice-President – Assist the board and help with special projects for a one-year term (2026–2027)
• Recording Secretary – Keep track of meetings and important notes for a two-year term (2026–2028; installed on even-numbered years)
• Member-at-Large – Contribute ideas and help with board initiatives for a one-year term (2026–2027)

Executive Board Roles/Timeline

Positions not open for election this term:

• Corresponding Secretary – Two-year term (2025–2027), currently held by Nia Serbin.
• Treasurer – Two-year term (2025–2027), currently held by Mari Suarez.

Members are encouraged to attend the meeting if they are interested in or have been nominated for a position. 

If multiple members are nominated for a position, a ballot will be sent out on October 17.

Board members will be officially sworn in during the December Quarterly Training.
